Iyengar This type of yoga focuses on the body’s alignment and is great if you have problems with your back or neck. The poses are intended to strengthen the muscles that support joints.
Vinyassa This is a great style of yoga if you are interested in losing some weight. It’s a fast-paced class and at some studios it’s referred to as Power Yoga.
Kundalini This is the perfect class if you’re seeking a more spiritual and calming experience. Instructors typically include chanting and breathing to focus on calming the mind.
Bikram Excellent choice if you want to become extremely flexible. Bikram is typically held in a heated room with high levels of humidity. You may have heard this referred to as Hot Yoga.
